1031 Exchange

In a Delayed Exchange or a Starker Exchange, the Exchanger has 45 days to identify potential Replacement property from the date of the sale of their Relinquished property and 180 days from the sale of the Relinquished property to close on the newly acquired Replacement property.

Guardian Exchange Services’ experienced Exchange Coordinators draft all necessary paperwork and work with your attorney and/or tax advisor to ensure a smooth exchange process. The Exchange Agreement must be entered into between the Exchanger and the Qualified Intermediary prior to closing on the Relinquished property or the Exchange will be disqualified.
