Important Lorain County Auditor's Office Notice
Due to budget cuts, the Lorain County Auditor’s Office will be closed every Friday beginning February 6, 2026.
The recorder’s office will be open, but documents creating a transfer of title, will not be processed. The closure impacts both e-recordings and manual recordings.
Please note that while Guardian Title may close and disburse on Fridays. Documents will be submitted for transfer and recording the following business day.
