Sweet Potatoes for Thanksgiving
1/3 cup brown sugar packed firm
1/3 cup of sugar
1 TBL of cornstarch
1 cup of orange juice
1/4 tsp salt
6 sweet potatoes
Stir over low heat sauce ingredients until transparent until sauce thickens.
Boil potatoes until they feel soft or cooked through
After boiling and cooling, peel the potatoes, half or cut into thick slices
Place potatoes with sauce, 9 x 13 casserole dish and bake in oven uncovered at 375 degrees for about 1/2 hour until sauce bubbles or thickens.
